The video game industry is big business. That means great opportunities for voice over actors. Recently I got to play the very cool companion character  Kaliyo in the video game,  Star Wars:The Old Republic., It’s a online Star Wars game with the story occurring thousands of years before the rise of Darth Vader when war between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire divides the galaxy. Kaliyo is the first  companion to the user will meet, and she’s a wild card. Definitely not the girl you bring home to mom.

On July 15th, I’m going to the video game industry’s big conference, Comic Con to speak on a panel about The Old Republic and the fun I had playing Kaliyo.  I’ll be doing it on Sunday 15th at 11:45 am. Hope to see you there, but don’t worry, if you’re not attending this crazy conference, I will be sharing my experiences via YouTube, podcasts, Facebook and Twitter. I’ve never been to Comic Con, so it should be an “interesting if not fascinating experience.”
