My Take Ten Meditation to help you relax and rejuvenate!
They say “We teach what we need to learn” For me that has always been true.
I was introduced to meditation by my mother who did Transcendental meditation, in the seventies (along with the Beatles). As with everything, my mother was a forerunner, and way ahead of her time. There was a real “Woo Woo” factor back then, which has changed dramatically in recent years with so much information on it’s benefits, that’s it’s now gone mainstream.
I have been meditating on and off for twenty years in different forms getting deeply into one style or another, and then some how falling “off the meditation wagon.” I’m grateful that it’s called a “Meditation Practice” since I’m far from perfecting it.
The meditations I have enjoyed listening to most and sticking with have been the guided ones where I’m lead with a soothing voice and gentle words to help me escape my “monkey mind” and feel deep relaxation.
I have always wanted to make my own meditation and since I’m an actress and a voiceover artist, and love using my voice to help people, it seemed like a good idea to make one in the style that has helped me.
I wanted to share it anyone who could use “Ten mindful minutes” to tune out the world and tune into themselves. Ten minutes seems doable for most of us and besides…I love alliteration … Hence.. “Take Ten with Tasia”
In our days of 24/7 it’s hard sometimes to remember that we are “Human Beings” instead of “Human Doings”
